Prior to this Brenda served as the Global Relocation Manager for Lehman Brothers in New York City, where she managed the firm’s domestic and international relocation departments as well as its corporate housing program. She has twenty two years of international work/study experience, and eleven years experience working in the expatriate services industry. Brenda has lived in Switzerland, France, Germany and the Netherlands. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Brenda served as an International Relocation Consultant on site at Goldman Sachs. Louise Vaux, Director of Client Services Louise grew up in England and found a love of travel while studying for her BA. She has ventured all over Europe and America, and even took a year off to travel around the world. She worked in both New Zealand and Australia before gradually moving through South East Asia & China, heading back home on the trans Siberian railroad via Moscow.
Following her Masters Degree studies in Literature and Linguistics at London University, she joined the highly regarded retail management training program at John Lewis Partnership in London. She later moved to Japan, taught business English to adults and recorded several English Language radio shows with NHK for high school ESL students. Her management skills were then put to the test as she managed the recruitment and program development side of Linguarama Language School. After attaining a post-graduate certificate in Japanese Language she became the International Coordinator and in-house translator for Hitachi Cable Ltd in Tokyo. She transferred to New York with the company in 1999.
With motherhood came a change in focus and after spending time negotiating the minefield of the New York school system, she is now chairing the Parents’ Associations in her daughters’ schools. Having personally relocated many times Louise is fully aware of the stresses and strains it can entail. Michelle Hennessey, VP, Director of Operations The daughter of a Foreign Service officer, Michelle’s experience living abroad began when she was just four years old with the family’s first assignment in Paris, France. Her passion for foreign cultures and languages only grew stronger with each new assignment and this led her to focus her studies and her career on working with the international community. Michelle returned to France 20 years later where she obtained her Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Paris and gained valuable work experience with the International Chamber of Commerce, UNESCO and the European Union. When Michelle moved back to the U.S. in 1998, she began her career in the relocation industry with Berlitz International in New York City where she managed key global accounts and was responsible to expanding and nurturing the company’s third party relationships. In this role, she worked closely with human resources executives to provide customized services for their expatriate populations and helped to insure the smoothest possible transitions for their people.

Francesca Occhipinti, Client Services Specialist Francesca grew up in Brisbane, Australia. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management at Queensland University of Technology and went on to follow her studies working in several different areas of HR. Francesca decided to take advantage of her EU passport and family taught Italian language skills and took an extended holiday in Italy. She fell in love with her European surroundings and culture and decided to remain there to pursue a career opportunity. Since Candace’s return from 15 years in Austria, Germany and Hong Kong, she has been working with companies and designers in the Tri-State area developing commercial interiors in such industry markets as healthcare, hospitality, corporate, retail and education. In Europe and Asia she held positions with the United Nations, Chase Bank, and 3M. She is most proud of her seven years at 3M in Hong Kong where she directed and taught inter-cultural programs for Chinese Management to improve understanding and communications with the American expatriates. Eager to stay current with international issues, she served as president in the first overseas chapter of The League of Women Voters in Hong Kong.
